Pork Chops with Apples and Cider


My Mom made this last week, I didn't get to try it because I couldn't get home in time, but it sounds delish!! Try it for yourselves!

Ingredients:
4 center cut pork chops
1 medium yellow onion cleaned and thinly sliced
2 eggs (scrambled)
1 cup bread crumbs
1 granny smith apple seeded and cut into thin wedges
1/4 cup apple cider vinegar
1/4 cup water
1 teaspoon salt
1/4 teaspoon ground pepper
2 tablespoons canola oil
Recipe:
Add one tablespoon of oil into frying pan and heat on medium for 1 minute.
Dip pork chop into egg then into bread crumbs and carefully place chop into warm frying pan. Do this with all of the chops. Cook on medium until golden brown for 10 mins on each side then remove from pan and set aside onto plate. If needed add 1 tablespoon to pan and add onion. saute for 6 to 8 minutes of until lightly golden and stir every 2 to 3 minutes. after oinons are golden add apple and cook for 2 minutes. Carefully add cider vinegar and water. Scrape bits from bottom of pan and stir until combined. Add chops back to pan with onion and apple mixture and add salt and pepper, cover and cook until no longer pink in center of chops, about 10 to 15 mins. addional. Serve hot.
